Auto-drafted from CAD close. All 11 NFIRS modules. State submission. NERIS V1 ready for the 2026 federal transition.
What it does
Federal NFIRS reporting is moving to NERIS in 2026. Most NFIRS RMS vendors are scrambling. Watchroom built against the NERIS V1 schema from day one — when your state cuts over, you don't.
Past that, NFIRS is the records side of the same data the CAD already captures. Drafts come in pre-populated. The records officer reviews, signs, locks. The state submission file generates from a button click, not a Friday-afternoon CSV dance.
How it works
Basic, Fire, Structure, Civilian Casualty, Apparatus, Personnel, Arson, EMS, Hazmat, Wildland, Juvenile — only the modules that apply for the incident type surface.
Once signed and locked, the report is immutable. Amendments are tracked in a separate amendment record — the original is preserved for legal defensibility.
Generate the .NFIRS XML or NERIS JSON your state expects. Batch submit by date range. State acknowledgment files imported back automatically.
Integrations
No CSV exports. No batch jobs. No manual reconciliation. When something happens in one module, the others know.
Drafts come in pre-populated from the CAD close — the records officer reviews, signs, submits.
EMS-related NFIRS modules pull from the linked ePCR — same patient count, same triage data.
Apparatus Module data populates from the apparatus board — engine IDs, crew counts, on-scene times.
