This policy covers the Watchroom Responder app and Watchroom Responder accounts on watchroomapp.com.
Location
The app uses your location on the device to show your position on the call map and the route to the call. Your location is not sent to Watchroom. Map and route requests go to Google Maps, under Google's privacy policy.
Camera
The camera is used only to scan a setup QR code. Images are not stored or sent anywhere.
Active911
The app reads your agency's Active911 feed with your device code or token. Calls, member names and responses come from Active911 and are shown on the device. When you press a status button, that response is sent to Active911.
Watchroom account
A Watchroom account is optional. If you create one, we store your email address, your name, the agencies you belong to and your role in each, your personal defaults, and your Active911 login. They are stored in Watchroom's Google Cloud (Firebase) database.
Your Active911 login is readable only by you. An agency admin can set it for you but cannot read it. Members of your agency can see your name, email address and role, the status of your Active911 login (its type, a masked label and when it was set, never the login itself), and your personal defaults (your device on the Active911 feed and the name on your reports).
An invitation to join an agency stores the invited email address and the email address of the admin who sent it. The invited person can see both and the agency's name, and the agency's admins can see the invitation, until it is accepted, declined or revoked.
Incident reports
Incident reports are written and stored on the device. They are sent only when you email them through your own mail app.
Advertising and analytics
The app has no advertising and no analytics. We do not sell your data.
Deleting your data
On your account page you can remove your Active911 login, leave an agency, and delete your account. Deleting your account removes your account, your membership in every agency, your saved Active911 logins, invitations sent to you and invitations you sent.
